Bridge Deck Scanning, Concrete Structure Scanning, GPR, Massachusetts, News, Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), Research and ConsultingBy Allison SmithMay 25, 2021

Infrasense was in western Massachusetts this past week completing a suite of tests along the abutments of a bridge to quantify and map deterioration, as well as identify concrete compressive strength, rebar spacing, and rebar depth.

GPR Scan on Connecticut Interstate

Bridge Deck Scanning, Connecticut, GPR, GPR for Pavement Evaluation, News, Nondestructive Evaluation (NDE), Pavement Structure EvaluationBy Allison SmithMay 25, 2021

Infrasense engineers recently carried out a GPR scan on an interstate in Connecticut to evaluate pavement and bridge deck conditions. The results will be used to plan subsequent testing including FWD and coring, and ultimately to support the rehabilitation design.
