Utilizing the latest in nondestructive testing (NDT) technologies, Infrasense engineers can identify and map current in-situ conditions of subsurface project sites. Buried utilities, storage tanks, concrete structure reinforcements, and thickness of embedded components are some of the many conditions that can be detected. NDE methods like GPR, IR imagery, and electromagnetic (EM) conductivity allow for rapid deployment with minimal disruptions to project sites. This provides real-time results and on-site mark-outs confirming the presence of subsurface targets, as well as helps map out safe areas for digging, cutting, or coring. As-built mapping results are provided in plan-view maps with corresponding quantitative data and can be customized for a client’s specific needs.
