Infrasense has performed vehicle-based infrared thermography scanning of thousands of bridge decks throughout the country. Vehicle-based IR is faster, safer, and more cost-effective than traditional bridge deck inspection methods. It allows for high-precision data collection with no lane closures, no personnel exposed to traffic, and the capability of scanning dozens of decks per day. We continue to provide various state DOTs with routine network-level bridge deck evaluations to facilitate rehabilitation and preservation planning efforts.
