Ground Penetrating Radar Demo For Hawaii DOT
Several years ago, Infrasense founder Ken Maser traveled all the way to the island of Oahu to demonstrate the capabilities of ground penetrating radar (GPR) technology for highway and bridge deck applications. Over the course of two days, GPR data was collected at locations around Oahu selected by the Hawaii Department of Transportation. Following the data collection, a PowerPoint presentation and training session was provided to HDOT personnel, as well as personnel from other agencies, consultants, and contractors. Included in the presentation was a cost analysis for the implementation of GPR.
