Condition Assessment of 36 Bridge Decks Along I-80 in Wyoming (2015)

Infrasense conducted Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR), Infrared Thermography (IR), high resolution video, and underside surveys on 36 bridge decks along I-80 in southeastern Wyoming. The GPR, IR and video surveys were carried out at normal driving speeds without closures or the need for traffic control. A visual inspection of the underside was carried out on each deck, including photographs and field sketches. A report for each bridge was provided to the Wyoming DOT, including maps of delamination, deterioration, topside surface distress, and underside surface distress. The reports were delivered in digital (PDF) and hard copy formats.
